Biore lovin' without King Cake

We had the weekly dinner tonight. We made a recipe that Henning gave us with salmon, pasta, apples, cream, mustard, honey, and dill. Lots of dill. It turned out to be a very nice dinner. Aftwards, in the downtime, we had a Biore Pore Strip (Nose) party. Scott, Cynthia, Henning, and Katy participated. Scott wins for the most gunk, Henning wins for the least. We will be doing pore stips again on Saturday before the formal.

For dessert, I really wanted to have a King Cake. We've had them for the past 3 years, and when I was living with Julie and Emily, we had a big Mardi Gras party. Princeton does have several bakeries, but they are more of the fancy little fruit tart bakeries than the full service breads, muffins, doughnut, cake, coffee bakeries like Bennison's in Evanston or the Swedish Bakery in Chicago. I did find a french bakery that had a picture of a King Cake, but it didn't have actual King Cakes in stock. So, there was no King Cake for us tonight. I'll try harder next year.

Rich got his TV tuner in the mail today. He's making his own Tivo. He's doing a test run on CSI:Miami right now.
